AEM 5.6.1 to AEM 6.1 Upgrade : Unable to detect a CRX2 repository configuration (Need a way to change repository and datastore configuration)

Hi All,

I am trying to upgrade AEM 5.6.1 to AEM 6.1. After unpacking AEM 6.1 jar in quickstart folder, i ran below migration command -

java -jar aem-quickstart-6.1.0.jar -v -x crx2oak

and encountered "Unable to detect a CRX2 repository configuration" error. i have repository and datastore in different folder (not under crx-quickstart folder). Hence, the issue.

Is there a way to change Repository and Datastore path before running crx2aok migartion utility?

Please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Have a look at this pdf presentation[1] which has some different options, also there is also a presentation[2] on migrating. Alternatively, please raise a daycare ticket.

Move both repository & datastore matching the default instalation. Update repository.xml file and then to migration.
