Adobe Target and AEM - ClientContext vs ContextHub

Currently we are integrating AEM and Adobe Target to create personalized content. We are associating Adobe Target framework to pages to control which stores to be sent to Target. We are using client context API to set the store data. Will the support for clientcontext be deprecated in future ? Do we need to use contexthub api to set store data when we integrate AEM and adobe target ?

What version of AEM are you using? Details on the differences and future direction from a previous answer[0]. There are also quite a few other questions on this topic in the forum.

Currently we are using AEM 6.1. We have a plan to upgrade to AEM 6.2

As of AEM 6.1, ContextHub was not production ready.  The recommendation has been to use ClientContext in 6.1 implementations and ContextHub in 6.2.
