We have done an adobe sitecatalyst configuration. I want an event to trigger on successful submission of my form. It should not trigger when the form submission is unsuccessful. Currently the event is triggering on form submission irrespective of sucessful or unsuccessful submission.

Like all AEM components - you can override this functionality and add app logic so that the event handler does nothing if a certain condition exists. To extend AEM components, see http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/developing/widgets.html.

We will look into the possibility of adding this use case to the community list of articles as well.
