ActivityStream component on the Non community site pages

Hi All,

I am completly new in using the communities components, I am trying to utilize the OOB activitystream component by extending it as I need to change the UI of the component.

I copied the OOB component in my /apps directory added the required clientlibs on the page on which I am adding this component, but still its not displaying with the CSS classes.

When I add the component to any page of community site, it shows fine, but if I add that on a non community site page it does not display the css classes.

Please suggest what is the best way to extend any OOB component and use it on the normal site(not a community site).

Note:- I am trying to convert the existing custom functionality similar to activity stream using OOB activitystream component.

Thanks,

Monika

Hi Monika,

Have you tried playing with /content/community-components/en/activitystreams.html . It provides you an example of the OOTB Activity Streams component independent of a community site.

Also you page should load the clientlibs cq.social.hbs.activitystreams

Thanks
