Source code of generated apps

Hi guys,

Quick question towards Android and iOS apps generated by the cloud platform.Does AEM Mobile support getting access to the source code of these apps?

At the moment I don’t see a way other then reverse engineering the app via decompiling the .apk or .ipa file. But I doubt this is the official way.

Cheers,

Matthias

Hi Matthias,

Reverse engineering the apps is not supported.

How do you want to change the app? If you want to add custom Cordova plugins, you can use a developer tool to build the iOS or Android app.

Hi Matthias,

AEM Mobile does not support de-compiling the code for the app. As of now no such option is provided.

This was more of a general question, no use case to change the app for now.

Thanks guys.
