Preflight App Will Not Install Now.

Has anyone run into this situation where I have submitted my app, its been approved. So I copied that same app, made it a preflight app so that I could test stuff before I publish it... But it will not install onto my iPhone.

any ideas?

Do you get a gray app icon when you try to install the app? If so, the iPhone's device ID likely isn't added to your mobileprovision file.

Hi Bob,

I try to install the app through iTunes... I install the app, and it says its installing on the phone, then just disappears. I have tried this many times, restarting my device, restarting my machine etc. Still no luck.

Is your iPhone UDID added to your mobileprovision file? Add your UDID, rebuild the provision file, and then use that new provision file when signing the app.

when I looked into the mobile provision file, my device was listed. But regenerating the file worked.
