How to edit iOS app menu "account" button?

My app, created with Adobe DPS 2015, was rejected by Apple.

Restoring In-App Purchase

We found that your app includes a feature to restore previously purchased In-App Purchase products by entering the user's Apple ID and password. However, the application does not have any In-App Purchases that can be restored.

It would be appropriate to revise your binary to remove this feature.

I can't find where I can edit or disable the “account” app menu button, that takes the user to the “Restore In-App Purchase” option, that is not working.

Since I'm publishing a free magazine with free articles, the initial idea is that no login is needed with any account neither the “Restore In-App Purchase” option would be available.

Is there a way to disable the account menu button?

or

How do I configure the “Restore In-App Purchase” option?

Thanks,

Valmir.

The rejection seems to be at the discretion of the app reviewer. The apps you reference actually have "restore purchase" enabled in the app, but it did not get noticed by the app reviewer.

There is not workaround for this, it will require an update to our app. I'm working with the team on getting this resolved and will post updates when I have more information.

There is no way to disable the account button, nor is there a configuration for restore purchase. I've alerted the dev team of this concern and I'm hopeful we can have a resolution soon.

How can we workaround this?

Is there a way to get the “Restore In-App Purchase” option working and hopefully my app aproved by Apple?

Thanks

I mean, how did the free magazines in the #MadeWithDPS gallery resolved it?

I noticed that the apps in the #MadeWithDPS gallery have the same “account” and "restore purchase" buttons, but the behaviours are different.

In Qantas and Swiss Airline magazines, when I click in “restore purchase”, I get the message “the content can't be viewed at the moment" and it returns to the app.

In my app, when I click "restore purchase", it asks for my iTunes password. After I type it, I get the message “The Apple ID couldn't be found or the password is incorrect. Try again later” and it returns to the "restore purchase" option.

Hoping to hear more from this.

I'm not 100% certain about this, but I think the error you are seeing is generated because you are using your real Apple ID to authenticate in your app. You need to use an iTunes sandbox account to actually test this.
