How to disable nav bar in an article

I've got a image slider in an HTML article that can go full screen. The button to exit full screen, however, is at the top of the viewport and gets hidden by the nav bar when the user taps the screen. Is there a way to disable the nav bar for an HTML article? I attended MAX and remember them mentioning a HTML Gesture API but I'm not sure how this works.

Hi Zac,

There is an API, and you can use it to block gestures from getting passed to us in your HTML article. See Digital Publishing Solution Help | Create HTML articles for DPS 2015. There's information at the bottom of the page.
