Different collection backgrounds for tablet and mobile views

Hello,

When building apps with considerable content it would be incredibly useful to be able assign separate images for both form factors. Allowing us to publish the same collection on both. This would massively reduce collection redundancy and significantly decrease maintenance time.

Is this something we can expect in the near future?

Wouldn't this be related to the ability to assign multiple layouts to one collection (tablet and phone)? Seems to me like each layout would define its own background image.
