We are using AEM clous Assets and trying to add custom Metadata Schema. We are able to add and see schema using AEM Assets Touch UI. But that metadata is not visible when we view Assets(image) in Assets View. I see an option to Add custom Metadata Forms in Assets View but i need to add custom Metadata Property in schema. I don't see any options to add custom schema property in Assets View. How can I add custom metadata property in schema?

Hello @ArchanaS
This Asset Essentials video tutorial for metadata forms might be helpful :
https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-learn/assets-essentials/configuring/me...
The tutorial covers how to create, map, and assign metadata forms to assets based on MIME types or folders, as well as how to include custom properties with namespaces.

Hi @ArchanaS ,
Just defining the schema isn't enough — it must be applied to the correct asset folder(s), and your custom fields must map to existing or new metadata nodes under the asset’s metadata node.
Create or Edit a Metadata Schema (via Tools - Assets - Metadata Schema Forms):
Start by creating or editing a metadata schema using the Metadata Schema Editor. Here, you can add your custom fields like text, dropdowns, etc.
Assign the Schema to the Relevant Folder:
Navigate to the folder in the Assets UI where your assets live. Open the folder properties, and under the Metadata Schema tab, select and apply your custom schema form. This ensures that all assets within that folder and its subfolders will use your custom form. Make sure each field has a proper property path, such as myproject:customField, which determines where the value will be stored in the asset’s metadata ( jcr:content/metadata node).
Upload or Access an Asset in That Folder:
After applying the schema, go to an asset in that folder, click on Properties, and your custom metadata field will now be visible in the dialog. You can edit and save the value there.
Let me know if it works, or you need more help.
Thanks.

@ShivamKumar First try to understand the question context and then give answer. Archana expecting add custom metadata fields in Assets view(https://experience.adobe.com/?repoId=<environmentid>#/@<program>/assets/metadataform) and not touch UI(Tools->Assets->Metadataschema). Everyone aware of Touch UI metadata schema
@ArchanaS Have you got answer, even we are also looking for that. We have achieved in Touch UI custom metadata schema with custom namespace fields. We want the same to replicate in Assets view on metadata forms https://experience.adobe.com/?repoId=<environmentid>#/@<program>/assets/metadataform
We are able to create form but map dont have option to link to our custom namespace fields.

Thanks @muskaanchandwani ,
this video has shown how can we add custom metadata field while creating custom metadata form in assets View UI.
@FrankMu ,we can also import the metadata we created in Touch UI to Asset UI. But for that we have to request our Adobe support team they will enable Import button in metadata forms. you can request Adobe for early access capability to import your metadata forms from the Touch UI into Assets View.
After they enable ,you can see metadata form like below:
