Unable to add Profile Subsitutions in a recurring delivery

Question

Hi Team,

I have started the workflow, using a Scheduler. But then I still cannot add the Profile Subsitution in the recurring delivery which is attached in the flow. I keep seeing this message:

"Oops! To add profiles, you need to prepare the message (start the workflow or click prepare in the message dashboard)."

Do you have any suggestions of how I can set this up?

For recurring deliveries it only works with following configuration:

Set to aggregation = None
Enable "request confirmation before sending"

Then it would generate a version of the delivery which allows the substitution
