Profile & Client Data Backup, Data Recovery Plan in ACS enviornment

In ACS env, before deploying the changes to prod env, if we want to take the back up of profile data and client data of custom resources just to be safe for any data corruption that may happen due to the changes, what are the options we have?

Does the DBA's from Adobe hosted env takes care of backing up of data and will be able to recover the data upon request? or Do we need to run daily / weekly data back up in a workflow and store the data in flat file on our own and restore it by importing them back as part of the disaster recovery plan? or there are any other best practices to follow?

HI Asish,

Since ACS is Adobe hosted we take dauly backups and these backups are maintained for 7 days before being purged.

So the most you can go back is 7 days.

Now assume your backup completes at 2AM and you made a change at 12PM on that day resulting in a corruption of data. If you will plan to rollback, the 2AM backup will be used and you will lose 10 hours worth of data.
