Is it possible to call other system's API FROM ACS?

Hello,

We have a requirement to integrate Adobe Campaign Standard (ACS) to other systems via API.

We know we can make the other system call ACS's API, but we do not know if it is possible to make ACS make an API call to another system.

By this thread (REST API Connection to Dynamics 365 ), we learned that it may be impossible. As it is from 2018, we would like to know if it is still impossible or if a way to do it has been implemented recently.

We know that in Adobe Campaign Classic we can use JS Code Activities to do it, but could not find this feature in ACS.

Thanks and regards,

Hello J,

Please see Is outbound api call possible using ACS where we have this request documented previously.  The quick summary is that at this time Outbound API calls cannot be sent from ACS at this time but we have an enhancement submitted under reference CAMP-27280.

Once it's available, we should have it listed on the page.

Hi Craig, thanks for the answer.

During my search,  I had not found that link you mentioned. Sorry for the duplicate.

I think that answers our doubt at this moment.
