We are planning to add filters to our Profile custom resource as a convenience to users. This will enable them to more easily build audiences with common elements, such as "alumni within X miles of the main campus".
However, we would like to limit whether these filters are available to users based on their organizational unit. This would make it so users would see filters in the Shortcuts pane that are most appropriate to their department or role in our university. For instance, University Advancement will have more benefit from filters focusing on alumni and key donors whereas a specific college may benefit more from filters that select students, graduates, and friends of that college.
