Unsubscription Link Configuration

Hi,

I want to add a custom web form for unsubscription link. 2 questions:

1) Where do I configure my custom Unsubscription URL

2) How will I associate the Unsubscription URL to the web application in Adobe Campaign

Thanks,

Saurabh

Hi Saurabh,

You need to follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Create your unsubscribe landing page.
  2. Publish it.
  3. On the landing page's dashboard, you will get the URL associated with it.
  4. Create a new personalization block and define this unsubscribe link inside it.
  5. On the delivery template or a new created delivery, add this personalization block and now every new email originating from that template will have this link added to it.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Vipul

Hi Saurabh,

Did you see this section of the documentation, explaining how to manage subscriptions and unsubscriptions in web forms? https://docs.campaign.adobe.com/doc/AC6.1/en/WEB_Web_Forms_Creating_a_Web_form.html#Subscriptions

It should answer both questions. You can browse the rest of the page to have more information about web forms.

Let me know if you have additional questions.

Hope this helps,

Florent.

Thanks Florent. I saw this page. What I am not sure is how the Unsubscription Link that comes in Include component in the delivery is configured for all emails.

e.g When we create a delivery we add unsubscription link to it. Where is that unsubscription link value configured in Adobe Campaign so that it can be used in any type of delivery.

Thanks,

Saurabh

Hello, Vipul,

Thanks for the fast reply. We do already have the personalization block created, but I'm looking for the syntax of the unsubscribe link.

For example, this is forced inside HTML (example)

hi @florentlb ,

as I just face the same problem...

My tool is Adobe Campaign Standard and I wonder if it's possible to change the unsubscription landing page, which is used in the link config for the email designer.

Can you please help me?

Thanks, regards, Thomas

I'm having the same problem as I am also using Adobe Campaign Standard. I want to say up front here that it's very frustrating getting sent to solutions that apply to V7 & v8 and NOT Standard. The approach has been COMPLETELY DIFFERENT and to mix and match them makes this product look like a developer release or a beta rather than what it should be. All I can do outside of spending HOURS of my time researching only to hit dead ends is to open tickets with you. And that's after getting the privilege to as your site leads most users in circles. Do you want customers? Honestly I'm not sure I can tell.
