Passive delivery

Hi,

as part of workaround there is a need to record some recipients in BroadLog but without real delivery. So, I need some kind of passive delivery (which will not be executed like sending email, etc...) for workflow and incoming recipients  to be recorded in BroadLog. I tried with creation of new External account with delivery type = Description (this looks like a passive delivery) but that is not visible as delivery template later.

Any suggestions?

Hi Milan,

You could try using a direct mail delivery.  This does write to the BroadLog, but nothing will actually be sent.

You could also create a workflow to insert this information directly into the BroadLog table.

Does this type of delivery has a control group option, that is also important for this case?

Yes the direct mail option does have the control group functionality.
