Can we show an Image in Gmail Inbox preview? I have attached the screenshot for better understanding where in an image is getting displayed when we receive a mail in Gmail inbox.

Hi @NeelamBakre - There are some ways to get your image shown in the Promotions tab in Gmail. One is by purchasing ad space with Google. But it also seems the Gmail does some bundling of its own into Top Deals or Top Picks. Reading the blurb from Google, its not instantly obvious how they pick these, but I would partner with someone like Litmus who studies how to position for these spots in Gmail.

Here is some more info on this feature: https://www.litmus.com/blog/how-to-utilize-the-power-of-gmails-new-promotions-tab/

Hello @NeelamBakre

The screenshot you have shared is of an advertisement. I don't think you can add an image in the preheader.

Thanks,

MAnoj

@Derren_Bowers Thanks for your quick response . I have checked the mentioned website & tried testing the JASON-LD script along with my html. I received testing in Gmail Promotional tab but without any Image preview. Is JASON-LD supported by Adobe Classic ? Also, do we need to install AMP package In adobe for the same ?

Hi @NeelamBakre - There is no support for this feature in Adobe Campaign as its pretty specific to a single ESP (Google). I dont think there is any way to force Gmail to pick your email either. If you sign up for Litmus or another partner that supports this Gmail promotional annotations you can tailor your email content to best support the feature. We use a number of third-party tools to create and test our content outside of Campaign. Litmus is one and has a lot of other great features. Cheers Darren

Hi @NeelamBakre ,

After doing some google search about this image in email. It is basically called as a promotion card, which gets display in the promotion inbox folder, if Email HTML contains some additional code snippet.

Adding few reference link

Hi @nitesh_anwani Thanks for the response. I tested HTML by adding below microdata code. I received the same in Gmail Promotions tab but without any Image preview.

Microdata used for Image :

<div itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/PromotionCard">
<meta itemprop="image" content="https://res.<domain>/res/img/EB7C0D5C5F59125555B33953183FE668.jpg" />
</div>
