Concerns regarding Gold Standard 11 Update

Dear all,

We were recently noticed of the Gold Standard 11 update. After talking to the customer care, it seems that the update may change certain settings back to default (e.g. typology rules, MX management).

We are wondering what else could be changed back to default and if there is a way to export all the necessary settings so that once the update is done they can be imported to apply all the customizations?

Thanks in advance.

Best,

Roxie

Hi @roxie423 - It sounds like the standard warning that if you have modified any of the built-in system default objects like default typology rules, templates, etc then when the server is updated, these objects will be reverted to their default (unmodified) state. If you haven't modified any of these default system objects, you should be ok when the update happens

Cheers

@darren_bowers Thank you for your reply. It seems that we have changed one of the typology rules, the input form for recipient, and maybe some web analytics technical workflow. I am wondering how can we save a backup of these?
