I was recently told by a vendor the out of the box connection between Adobe Campaign Classic and AEM is deprecated.

I don't see anything online about these connections be depreciated based on this doc.

Integrating with Adobe Campaign Classic

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

The Campaign Classic + AEM integration is not deprecated but email components are as they were not complying with latest email best practices. See here: Best Practices for Email Templates

This means email components need to be created as part of the implementation project.
