    • Assess data model, data flows, and API usage.
    • Define detailed scope and reduce unnecessary migration elements.
  3. Clean-Up and Preparation:
    • Address bad practices identified during the audit.
    • Remove unused data.
    • Plan and execute build upgrades to the latest available version.
  4. Migration:
    • Provision a new cloud instance with appropriate specifications.
    • Backup the new provisioned instance structure.
    • Import instance structure with packages.
    • Set up sequences and counters.
    • Import deliveries, workflows, operations, and other relevant packages.
    • Realign IDs of imported objects to match on-premise instance IDs.
    • Import non-XML data using preferred method (flat file, DB migration service, FDA).
    • Validate stage instance
    • Refresh production with verified stage instance and conduct performance testing.
    • Directly migrate to the production instance.
    • Import structure and packages for deliveries, workflows, campaigns, etc.
    • Import non-XML data.
    • Enable tracking and real-time capabilities following tracking cutover guidelines.
    • Initial Migration:
    • Final Delta Migration:

It's recommended to perform the initial migration on a stage instance before proceeding to production. Importing packages should precede importing non-XML data to avoid potential issues.
