Why does my paid search asset tracking code falls under other Marketing Channels other than Search:Paid

Hi,

I am currently reviewing marketing channels that lead visitors to my company's website based on last touch attribution. However, when I search for my Paid Search CID under asset tracking codes, I realized that quite a number of them appeared on other marketing channels such as organic or emails.

This is weird cause the Paid Search CID is specifically meant for Paid Search and will not be used as part of email or SEO campaigns. Just would like to check if anyone faced anything similar and have a possible explanation for it?

Thank you.

This requires a check on your Marketing Channel Rules... without seeing what you are doing it will be very hard for us to help diagnose the issue.

Could you take screenshots of your rules, post them in order so that we help see what is happening?

Also, when did you last change these rules? Is it possible that you still have some mis-identification from the last 30 days (assuming this is your Marketing Channel expiry) and that you need time to let those clear?

Hi @jennifer_dungan ,

Thanks for the reply. Let me check on my marketing channel rules as they are set up by the analytical team.
