What's the best way to set up a "New purchasers" segment?

Hey there,

I'm trying to set up a segment to track new purchasing customers in Adobe Analytics Workspace, and I want to be sure I've done this correctly.

The logic is that I want to capture visitors making their first purchase within the last 53 weeks, but I'm not sure if this set up is saying that. I've pasted an image of the settings I'm using right now. I believe this is saying "Return every site visitor in the last 53 weeks with 0 orders, but THEN makes an order" into this segment. I did play with some Only after Sequence settings, but that killed the segment. Anyone here with a lot of experience in building stuff like this have any insight?

You can alternatively use following report to see new purchase - Customer Loyalty​

Hi Asheesh,

I think this is exactly what I was looking for. I'm assuming that the purchases are conversions that happened within the date range the report is selecting? So if I ask for New Purchasers between Jan 1 2019 and Feb 28, 2019, they will all reflect orders made in that time window?

Yes! Its works same as unique visitor reports the only difference is here unique visitor is a who makes purchase. More info :Unique Customers
