What is the equivalent of AppendVisitorID function in AlloyJS (web SDK)

Hi there,

 

Recently we are trying to investigate the cross domain tracking functionality using this documentation https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/id-service/using/id-service-api/methods/appendvisitorid.html?lang=en#section-62d55f7f986542b0b9238e483d50d7b0

 

However, as we are also in the middle of upgrading into Web SDK (alloy JS) we want to know if there is a similar code that can work on this case, since I assume the document above is only for Appmeasurement library?
