what is the definition of Users (Mobile) and App User

Hi all

Anyone can tell me the definition of Users (Mobile) and App User how are they counted?

I see the number, at least in our case, of Unique Visitors is the same than Users (Mobile) and App User, so I checked the definition of Unique Visitors: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/components/metrics/unique-visitors.html?lang=en#un...

But, it is not clear how these metrics are counted. I'm especially curios to know how these metrics are counted if the app is the background.

I appreciate if anyone can give a definition and criteria of these metrics.

Cheers,

Gus

App Users are Unique Visitors with App ID. In other words, if the report suite collects data only via Mobile SDK (mobile apps), these two metrics will return the same value. The difference will be when the report suite aggregates apps and web (something without app id).
