Update evar

Hello everyone,

Is it possible in Analytics update evar value on daily basis? Currently I am saving age customer value into evar and I am thinking to check and update this value on daily basis. Or maybe on the flight every time business user chooses this evar?

Any idea?

@Luca_LattariniBased on my understanding, you can capture a new value in the eVar but can't update an already captured value. For example, let's say if I capture the value as 29 in an eVar yesterday & today I populate the value as 30 in the same eVar. So, in this scenario, you will see both values 29 & 30 in the eVar reports.

This is the way the value is captured in an eVar based on the current architecture of Analytics.

Once the value is saved in the adobe analytics you can not update, what you can do is for reporting purpose you can create calculated metric by writing function which will compare the year with current year and calculate age.
