Unexpected Adobe Advertising API Call

Hello,
My team is using Adobe Launch with Adobe Analytics and Experience Cloud ID Service as extensions. We noticed that an unexpected API call to Adobe Advertising is made on some page loads. The API request is made to the URL https://cm.everesttech.net/cm/dd?d_uuid={ID}. What is the cause of these API requests? Could it be related to our use of Experience Cloud ID Service?

If you look at the adobe-endpoints-matrix.xlsx file provided in Network endpoints for Adobe apps & services you'll find this domain is used by Adobe Express. It looks like ECID Service calls cm.everesttech.net during the automatic synchronization of data between Search, Social, and Commerce.
