Hi There,

Its great reading all the answers posted! and thought to put across my question as well.

I was referring some documents related to tracking code and noticed that the "Tracking code report" is not available in my report suit. (attached screenshot for reference), Could anyone please let me know is there anything i am missing in implementation part or is it i need to enable any option for this report.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out.

It looks like that the Tracking Codes report in your menu has been renamed as PR Download Clicks. If you are the admin, you can go to Admin > Report Suites > "select your report suite" > Edit Settings > Conversion > Conversion Variables and rename it back to Tracking Codes. Or if you are not the admin you may contact your admin on the clarification on this.

Hope this helps!

Hi Shekhar,

Thanks for your reply, it really helpful!

I have gone ahead and renamed it as suggested. Now i will be passing tracking code for some of my campaigns. can i check the same reporting in tracking code (recently renamed)? since i am bit worried about i have renamed it and do i need to do any changes in implementation as well, to get tracking code reports ?

Thanks.

You will probably be populating that tracking code report via a query string value such cid=TRACKINGCODE

You would have a DTM rule or corresponding element of javascript in your appmeasurement.js library which captures the value of that QS parameter and sets it in the s.campaign variable.
You can check that this is working in realtime by using the Adobe Debugger.

If the earlier implementation was working the way it was supposed to be then you don't need to change anything as you have just changed the friendly name of the s.campaign variable. You should get the old values as well.
