Timeout calling Omniture service (data insertion API)

we received several timeout errors in event from 2:00 am to 3:00 am 30^th June, which displayed they were connecting omniture service timeout.

Timeout configured-10 seconds

Tracking server- first party tracking server 

- What could be scenario that this could be happening.

Since this is an older post, I'm assuming you've solved this issue. Incase others find this post, this may have been an outage. You can always check status.adobe.com to check for outages.
