Timeout calling Omniture service (data insertion API)

we received several timeout errors in event from 2:00 am to 3:00 am 30th June, which displayed they were connecting omniture service timeout.

Timeout configured-10 seconds

Tracking server- first party tracking server 

- What could be scenario that this could be happening.

Help much appreciated !
