Hi there,
I'm looking into our site engagement and have noticed that when looking at the time spent per visit metric, I see around 5 mins on average. However when looking at the bucketed time spent per visit, over half of our visits last less than 1 min, which tells a slightly different story.
Is anyone able to help me reconcile these two numbers? And advice on which to refer to?
Thank you!

Hi,
I tried to create same tables and have few questions for you:
You can also try 'average time on site' which gives similar result as 'time spent per visit' metrics.

Hi there,
Sorry, yes, here is the full table based on same date range
Time spent per visits is just a calculated metric to convert 'time spent per visit (seconds)' into minutes
Thanks for your help!

This tables shows 4.2 minutes per visit is spent on an average.
If you want to see in detail as exact minutes, you should use 'time spent per visit buckets' or 'time spent per visit granular'.

Thank you, @rohit_neema
What I'm wondering is - when looking at average time spent per visit, we see roughly 4 minutes, however when looking at visits broken down by 'time spent per visits bucketed', the majority of visits last less that 1 minute. So, are people mostly spending less than 1 minute on our site? Or are they spending on average 4 minutes? Is it the case that the 'average' is being inflated by the small amount of visits lasting >10 minutes?
Thanks again
