Successfully uploaded rows, rows with no collisions, rows that had no effect

Hi all,

After a classification import, the following pop-ups show up:

  • Successfully uploaded rows
  • rows with no collisions
  • rows that had no effect

I always check "Overwrite data on conflicts".

Why is the number of rows with no collision zero, even if things were edited?

And why ist the number of rows that had no effect usually very high even if almost every row in the file was edited?

Thanks!

@adam19 ,

You would see the count for rows with no collisions if you do not check the checkbox of "Overwrite data on conflicts". It will tell you the count of rows which are already classified with some other value which will not be edited.

Seems like rows that had no effect count also depends on the Overwrite data on Conflicts setting. If you uncheck this setting and uploaded edited data for already classified values, there will be less rows which would have no effect but they will not be edited.

Besides what @vidurb80577666 had mentioned, "rows that had no effect" will also report the number of rows in your file for which there was no matching key in AA's data. E.g. if you upload a row that a key "foobar", but there is no such "foobar" value in your classified dimension, then that "foobar" row will be reported as a row that had no effect.
