I love the new Analysis Workspace capability! Makes life so much easier and the results are compelling. I'm already planning on training several of the report end users on how to do their own data inquiry. I noticed, however, that some reports of mine (created in regular analytics environment) come across with zeros instead of the actual data when I use 'Try in Workspace'. The screenshot here shows what I mean. Not sure whether this is a bug or something on my end?
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Apologies for the delayed response.
The answer that I have got from the experts is that you are seeing that output because the pages report essentially uses linear allocation for the metrics. For example if an event corresponds to 10 pages each page would get 0.1 credits. Reports and Analytics historically is designed in such a way that it rounds off these numbers but Analysis Workspace does not do so. This is why you see zeros in line items despite being a total aggregate. How allocation works in pages report is also explained here - https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/reference/reports_pages.html
I hope this is helpful. Thanks!

Hi Chris,
This is indeed unusual. I can see the totals for those two columns coming up but its showing zeros in the line items. Are you facing this issue with a particular report/metrics or is it a random occurrence? Is this issue also showing up when you view it in a different browser or machine? Let me know so that I could investigate it further. Thanks!

Hi Tanmay,
Thanks for the response. I've encountered this so far with just a number of custom metrics (events that we created). And yes, the issue shows up across different browsers and machines (including Win7 Pro and Win10), IE, Chrome, Firefox etc.
Let me know if you require additional info on configuration or otherwise and I'd be happy to provide that as well.

Hi Tanmay,
Any further update on this? Maybe I'm just doing something wrong, but I continue to encounter this issue.
Thanks,
Chris
