Single Select Drop Down option for Segments

I have two segments I need added as a filter: One segment is for App and the other is for Web. These have specific criteria which is why they must be a segment.

I would like to add a Filter at the top of my workspace project so that users can switch between the two. I do not want them to have the ability to select both because if they do, the results will be inaccurate.

When I use 'shift' to add a filter, I get multi-select. I can't figure out a way to get Single select.

Anyone able to assist?

Hi @mel-4

there is no limitation to a single select as far as I know. Users will always have to either manually remove or clear the filters by clicking the clear all link.

Could be a great product idea though if you want to open one.

Cheers from Switzerland!

Yes, sadly, Adobe didn't provide the ability to specify multi-select or single.. I would also love to be able to restrict segments that don't stack to "single selection". So if you post an idea, I would upvote it.

Right now, I will often just add notes into my panel description that explain how my segment drop downs work and point out potential invalid combinations.
