As per knowledge if the standard s_vi cookie is unavailable, a fallback cookie s_fid is created on the domain of the website with a randomly generated unique ID. But i am seeing s_fid getting created though s_vi exists. Why is this so ? And will it impact unique visitor count ? Please help me on this
From what I understand, the fid is created regardless. However, the use of fid is when the s_vi value is missing. As long s_vi is present, it should not have an impact on your visitor count.
