Report Builder Login Error - "The user Login process was unsuccessful..."

Hi,

Trying to sign into the Report Builder plugin in Microsoft Excel and I get this error message:

"The user Login process was unsuccessful, an invalid company was specified."

I have checked my log in details numerous times and there are no errors in the company, username and password fields.  I can log into Omniture's web client with no issues.

As advised by @AdobeExpCare, I have reinstalled the plugin but I'm still getting the error message when trying to sign in.

Any help?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out.

There could be a few scenarios causing this issue:

This error most commonly occurs when either the login company is improperly entered, or if there are network activity issues. Do the following:

  • Check the login company spelling to ensure that there is not a typo or an errant space.
  •  If you are not able to log in to Analytics with those credentials, contact one of your organization's administrators to obtain the correct login company.
  • Check for Firewall settings as well.
  • Make sure there are no connectivity issues

Thanks!

Hi Gabriel-

Are you still having this issue? I am now experiencing this and have gone through the steps you listed above with now success. Additionally, I've uninstalled/ reinstalled excel and have even reached out to my VMcare to make sure my VMWare wasn't the issue.  I can log in to the UI just fine, but continue to get the error within Report Builder.

Any help at this point would be great- Thanks!

Hi,

Are you still facing this issue?

In addition to reinstalling the latest version of the plug-in, please ensure that you're using the correct login method (single sign on or legacy as may be applicable)

Here's some documentation for your reference.

Kind Regards

Hi Denea,

I had the same problem couple of weeks ago.

I decided to update my VM version and since then, I was able to login as usual.

Hope it will help,

Thanks,
