Rename event variable

Hello everyone,

 

My client asked me to rename some events because they want to see other variable name (events) in the dashboard. Any suggestion? How to avoid losing the current value (counter) in Prod?

Hi @luca_lattarini,

You can change the event name by going to Admin > Report Suites > (Select the Report Suite). Then click on Edit Settings > Conversion > Success Events. On this page, you can change the event name in the field as shown in the below screenshot.


This will not have any impact on the historical data.

Changing custom friendly name of events won't have any impact on the historical data.

Hi @luca_lattarini,

You can change the event name by going to Admin > Report Suites > (Select the Report Suite). Then click on Edit Settings > Conversion > Success Events. On this page, you can change the event name in the field as shown in the below screenshot.


This will not have any impact on the historical data.
