Refresh page & hit depth

Hello experts,

May I know, will refresh page accumulated on hit depth?

E.g.

Visits:

Page A > Refresh > Page B

Then breakdown by hit depth:

Hit depth 1: Page A

Hit depth 2: Page A

Hit depth 3: Page B

OR

Hit depth 1: Page A

Hit depth 2: Page B

Which is the right one?

Please help to clarify.

    Hit depth will increase on page refresh. it is counted on all server call types. Visit depth on the other hand will not increase on page refresh (if the page name is same)

    • HIT depth considers ALL hit types.
    • VISIT depth increases if:
      • The hit is a page view.
      • The pagename is not the same as the previous pagename.

    Hit depth will increase on page refresh. it is counted on all server call types. Visit depth on the other hand will not increase on page refresh (if the page name is same)
