Real-time analytics - unique visitors

Hi,  

I'm looking to create a real time report that shows the number of Unique Visitors on our site. However, this is not an option in the configure menu. I can only seem to pull "Instances" and Success events. Is there a way to pull Unique Visitor and Visit data into real-time reporting?

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

    Unique Visitors metric would not be supported under real time reporting. Here is a list of supported metrics and dimensions which might help you - https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/reference/realtime_metrics.html

    A way around this is to set a new Custom Event called something like "Session" with an expiry of Visit. Then use Processing Rules or via your code to trigger this custom event.

    You could do something similar for Unique Visitors too.
