Product Name's showing up as Unspecified

Hi Analytics Community!

I was wondering if someone could help me with my product name report. I am getting a lot of product IDs that aren't populating their product names. I'm thinking it has something to do with the s.productName variable not pulling any data, however it might be that we do not have product names assigned so that the variable can pull from it.

I've attached the screenshot here. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tom,

You may want to check who in your team is classifying the rest of the product names.

You can also do it by going to Admin > Classification Importer > Import File

May I know what the Name report is? Is it a classification of Products report? If so, it maybe the data is not classified (yet).

That's correct, it's a classification of the products report. It would be great if you could show me how that can be done.

if I click into the unspecified products, I can see their product IDs. Hope this helps clarify. Thanks!

    Hi hyderziaee​,

    If I update the product classification, will past data reflect that change? Or will the data change from the point it was updated?

    Also, if I'm updating product classification on a periodical basis, what would you recommend be the best way?
