As the title says, I'm preparing get the Analytics Architect Master certification. This is NOT a renewal, it will be my first certification. Is it open book?
Thank you.

No, it is the usual exam without books.
If you do a proctored exam, the table and surrounding must be empty of any paper/notes/whatsoever.
did it half a year ago and don't assume it has changed

@bjoern__koth, thank you.
I reviewed the study guide. I will study everything in it. There are a lot of topics that I'm already very familiar with. For those, I'm going to do a quick review. But there are also topics I need to dive into as I've never really gotten into them or used them.
Can you offer any tips or advise to help me prepare?
If I fail, I know I can retake it, but I can't find any information how much the fee would be. Do I need to pay the full price, $250, again or is there a slight discount to retake it?
If I fail, will I be given my score for each section? For instance, Section 1: Discovery - how many I got correct, and how many incorrect. Then same for Section 2: Solution design and Section 3: Post implementation. This would help me study more for the sections I need to improve on.

Hi @m_alcantara
not sure about the fee to redo it. I think it might be the same price again.
(Also not sure about the actual points per section, unfortunately. Guess in most cases you will know which you may have missed.)
UPDATE: just passed the Analytics Business Practitioner Expert and can confirm that they at least show your grades per section
Overall, it is a very wide-spread area of expertise they are asking. From understanding forumlae of segments, to setup of data layers and tag management, allowed sizes for the request fields, configuration settings on company level ("where can you change the welcome text for new user emails?"), etc.
As usual, Adobe has their own way to phrase things, so be prepared to scratch your head more than once...
(side note: when questions are too vaguely phrased, I typically write a comment on them. Not really hoping anyone will actually read them, more to let off some steam xD)
Good luck!
