Participation calc metric slowing down report builder

Avatar

Hi,

So I recently added the new participation calculated metric to one of my report builder requests and it seems to have a huge impact on the time it takes to refresh the workbook.  In the past all the queries took about 5 minutes to refresh, but since I added the participation calc'd metric I had the refresh fail three times on me already.  I deleted out 10 less important queries in hopes of trying to ease the total load, and it is still taking well over 30 minutes now.  Anyone else have any issues like this?  I'm only using the metric on two queries, and each are for a one week time frame, for a top ten pages list.  If this continues to be an issue, I may have to just remove that metric from the query.

Thanks in advance for the help

Chris
