New Visitors = 0 when pulled in aggregate & >0 when Pulled by Day

Hi,

Using the Report Builder Request wizard, I pull:

Report: Site Metrics
Metrics: Visitors, New Visitors
Segment applied: NONE
Granularity: Day

I am returned ~73% New visitors on avg. However, if I change the granularity to aggregate, I am returned 0% new visitors.

Can anyone pls help me understand if this is a bug, and if not - how should I interpret this?

Thank you,

Melissa

Hi,

I think I solved it. My date range included today 3/16. When I updated the date range to include only full complete days (through yesterday 3/15), my new visitors metric looked normal.
