Mediamind advertisement and referring domain

I found that referral for our advertisement that was served through mediamind on selected websites, was not detected. All this advertisement coming to our website from 3rd party websites seems to be treated as Type/Bookmarked traffic (according to what is displayed on digitalPulse debugger).

Has anyone had the same experience?

It sounds like a redirect may be preventing the capturing of the correct referrer value. It is a fairly common issue, and fortunately pretty easy to avoid once you have the correct preventative measures in place.

They are quite different. My previous question was more about what referrers are, breakdown by referrers, how to interpret referring domains report etc

What I am asking here if anyone had experienced Omniture SiteCatalyst javascript not capturing referrer value (as DigitalPulse debugger says that there is not a referrer, even though there is one obviously). What I did was I clicked an advertisement on website A and landed on our company website. Does that not mean website A is a referrer to my site? 
Like you said before, “Typed/Bookmarked line items occur in reporting where a referrer for an image request is not present.” 
Since there is not a referrer captured, that traffic would be grouped under Typed/Bookmarked.
