Marketing Channel Detail doesn't capture the right value in my app report suite

Hello,

This is a report suite on the mobile app data:

I assume the marketing channel detail should return the value of the marketing campaign according to my config on the marketing channel processing rule, but it seems to return a bunch of page name to me which doesn't make sense at all:

This is my marketing channel processing rule

All my marketing campaigns are captured with v7, and v7 should tie in with the marketing channel detail, I assume.
At least, this is how it set up for my web report suite, but I don't know why it doesn't work with my app report suite.

See if anyone can help.

Thank you

When you say "This is a report suite on the mobile app data" I am assuming this suite is isolated from your website traffic? That it is 100% mobile app?

Have you actually tested that eVar7 is in fact populating on your mobile apps? Are there other rules that could be populating your Marketing Channels in your app? Your screen shot is showing some odd Marketing Channel Details, but I can't see if these are limited to "Paid Search" marketing channel, or another channel... you have at least 3 (maybe more) Marketing Channel rules, I would first try to isolate each detail to a specific channel to be sure you are even diagnosing the correct rule....

Do you have AEP Assurance (formerly known as Griffon)  on your app to help with testing and debugging your implementations?

Hi Jennifer,

Sorry for the late reply, I was on vacation. But thanks for your feedback, I think I know what is wrong.

reply to your questions.

Yes, it is 100% mobile app and we have tested eVar7 (tracking code). v7 is working well on Android App

The current value of marketing channel details returns the value of the page name. It was because I set the direct traffic channel to return the value of the page

I assume it should be fixed after I change the value.
