Issue saving a document after editing

‌ have an issue with saving a document after I edit with the new Acrobat Adobe reader DC   I need help as I use this for work and have not been able to send my clients documents that I type on. I am not the most computer savvy so  if anyone can help answer in basic terms   I would appreciate it   I have a 3 1/2  year old computer with Windows 7
