Currently we are in the process of determining the impact ITP 2.1 has on Analytics data collection.

We will be updating the below document with the detailed impact.

Not yet. Teams are currently heads down preparing for the digital marketing summit happening in a couple weeks. It's one of the first things we want to address post-summit.

Adobe should consider updating the content on Data Collection CNAMEs and Cross-Domain Tracking to be in-line with what is available on Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP) and Adobe Analytics. The CNAME article indicates that cross-domain tracking will work when third-party cookies are disabled, which doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
