Hi @swetham1 ,

this is a limitation in our Analytics license. Do you know which one you have? e.g., do you have the "freemium" Adobe Analytics that you get for free with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)?

See also this thread: https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-analytics-questions/no-segments-available-in-calculated-metric-builder/m-p/358459

"The license should be Select, Prime or Ultimate."

Cheers

Hey @bjoern__koth .I never knew there is a freemium version of Adobe Analytics with AEM! Are there more such combos, something for AEP, Target etc.?

Hi @isha__gupta

there was a combo with Analytics and Target, but not any longer for new clients as far as I know.

Both tools came with a limited functionality e.g., in Analytics the aformentioned limitations to calculated metrics, in Target no personalization etc.

It was in my opinion the best case scenario for getting a foot in the door and showcase the capabilities without incurring any cost, and my clients were super happy and impressed by the capabilties. Like an appetizer to get your hands on the tool. Especially Analytics blew people with a GA background away.

Unfortunately, this combo no longer exists (unless someone else tells me I'm wrong)
