How to keep the same visitor id when navigating from web to android app?

Hi All,

I know, to track the same user while navigating from mobile to the web we need to use Identity.getUrlVariables or Identity.appendVisitorInfoForUrl and open the web by modifying the URLs.
But, is there a way to handle the opposite scenario?

In my case, a user who might be using my website on their laptop or mobile device can navigate to the android app through some deep links. In this case, how shall I keep the visitor Id the same?
