How to capture Bot information in an evar?

We have IAB bot filtering rule enabled for our report suite, but how do I capture the bot information in an evar?

We need to use it in Workspace

I don't think you can. The bot exclusion is done as part of Analytics' data processing pipeline, so the bot information doesn't get surfaced anywhere.

I agree with this... once a bot is detected by the filters there are flags applied to the data to exclude it from Workspace (at least at this time).

 

With the upcoming Sun-setting of the old Reports, I know that the Bot Reports are scheduled to be brought into Workspace so that we can get equivalent reports for "Bots" and "Bot Pages" (but I don't have the timeline of this change) - I also don't know if this will be a special panel (this is my assumption) or if we will be able to use in Workspace in other ways.....
