Dear Community,
The company I work for currently has several email senders configuered in Adobe AJO, this is due to the fact that we are a multibrand company, in addition to different communication purposes - invoicing messages are sent from financial subdomains, whereas CRM messages are sent from relationship subdomains; in addition, we also use AJO for HR internal communication with employees, using one subdomain, but three different email senders.
This said, is there a way we can add the email sender and/or subdomains in CJA reporting? I am aware we can use derived field to perhaps achieve the same results, but having the sender/ subdomain in the data view would make life a way easier. I have checked both ajo_message_feedback_event_dataset and ajo_entity_dataset, but did not find any information about the email sender in them. Does anybody know how to add it in CJA?
All the best!

To include email sender and subdomain information in your Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) reports, you can leverage the ajo_entity_dataset, which stores metadata about messages sent through Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO). This dataset contains details such as the sender email address and the associated subdomain, which are defined in your email channel configurations.
By integrating the ajo_entity_dataset into your data views within CJA, you can access these fields directly for reporting purposes. This approach eliminates the need for derived fields and provides a more streamlined method to analyze performance across different brands, communication types, or internal departments.
Ensure that your data views are configured to include the relevant fields from the ajo_entity_dataset. If these fields are not readily available, you may need to adjust your data ingestion or schema mappings accordingly.

Hi gautham_madala,
Thank you very much indeed for your help. This sounds like a great solution. I checked ajo_entity_dataset, but no data from sender is stored there by default. I will go through it with the implementation team, there might be a way to create a field group to store sender details in it. I will mark as Correct Reply here in case it works.
Once again, thank you for your help.
Best Regards,

Hi Community,
I am just writing to add my conclusion to the topic.
I was unable to find relevant information in the ajo_entity_dataset. And actually, since channel configuration is a sending attribute, I understood this information was likely to be found in the journey_step_events dataset. The closer data I got it was the _experience.journeyOrchestration.stepEvents.surfaceID. However, the vast marojity of records have no data for this field - and I have no idea why.
At this point, I am just assuming no visible dataset stores this data. Therefore, in order to reach my desired result, I will allign with teams a pattern for naming journeys and campaigns, then I will create a derived field based on that.
All the best!
