How do I enable the eyedropper tool in color picker window? (Illustrator)

As you can see in the image below, there isnt the eyedropper tool inside of color picker window in here. I know that this is possible in Illustrator because I've used color picker with eyedropper before, but since I changed my computer it is no longer showing me the tool.
I'm trying to recolor my artwork by Edit>Edit Colors>Recolor Artwork so it would be very helpful to have the color picker with the eyedropper. What can I do to enable it?

The eyedropper tool is a separate tool, you don't access it within the color picker window (or at least I've never seen it as an option, but the last version of Illustrator I used was CS4 which tells you how long ago that was)
